Pepco offers a pilot program to certify
master or limited licensed electricians to remove and reinstall electric
meters. This program is part of our commitment to improving the customer
experience and making it easier for you to perform work on customer equipment.
To become certified you will be required to sign an agreement that outlines
terms and conditions for removing meters. Signing the agreement also relieves Pepco
of any liability in case of injury or damage associated with disconnecting and
reconnecting meters. We are excited about the opportunity to partner with you
so that you can more effectively and efficiently plan your work, and allow us
to continue providing safe and reliability electric service.
