Keeping tabs on your energy bills has never been more important than it is today. And Pepco knows that understanding and monitoring your electric bill is an important part of keeping that bill as low as possible.
Electric bills are complicated. Because your bill amount represents the cost of the electricity you have used, the expenses associated with delivering it to your meter and the charges related to regulatory requirements and taxes, Pepco’s bills are a lot more complex than we might like. However, we do make every effort to help you understand your bill so you can use it as a tool to help you keep your electric expenses down. Please send us any questions you might have regarding your bill.
Accurate, regular meter readings are another key component to controlling your bill. If your meter is inaccessible and your find you are regular billed on an “estimated” basis, you may want to read your own meter.
