    UNDESIGN THE REDLINE EXHIBIT

    September 1 – September 30, 2017

Undesign the Redline is an explorative and visioning framework for addressing the historic transformations of place, class and race in America.  It seeks to build a conversation around the continuing effects of this history, from people often cut out of opportunities for success, to devising multi-stakeholkder strategies to generate transformative models for impact.  The exhibit utilizes a series of maps that explore the history of redlining in America, and related efforts and impacts on communities across the country, while also exploring responses to such policies and practices.  The exhibit features both national and local maps and efforts as a means to spur local dialogue about steps that can be taken today and in the future to mitigate negative impacts on communities.
