What are my payment options?
You can view and pay your bill online each month through My Account.
Budget Billing allows you to make a fixed payment each month, therefore avoiding the fluctuation in monthly bills, which may arise as a result of heating or air conditioning use.
Pay by Phone
You can make a payment with an electronic funds transfer from your bank account by calling 202-833-7500.
You can pay your energy bill with a credit card by clicking here or by calling 202-833-7500. A Western Union Speedpay fee will apply.

When I make a payment, Can I see the credit through My Acccount?
Our system does not currently update automatically online. Your payment will appear on your next bill under "Payments."
Can I register all my accounts under one user name through My Account?
Can I make one call to make payments on multiple accounts with one phone call?
Unfortunately, pay by phone only accepts one check payment for one transaction. You will have to call back to make a second payment on another account.
Can I pay my my bill with My Account even thoughI have received a final notice?
If you have a disconnection notice, we recommend paying at a global location or by telephone.
