Light Repair Response Time
Pepco typically responds to non-hazardous streetlight and area "light out" calls
within 15 business days of notification. In some instances, the actual
repairs may take up to 30 days. Longer repair periods might be due to damage to
underground wiring, the need to special order parts or if the entire pole and
fixture must be replaced. Streetlight repairs may also be delayed during storms
or significant weather events. Our field personnel and customer service
representatives concentrate on restoring electric service as a priority during
significant weather events. If the repairs have not been completed within 30
days, please notify us at 1-877-PEPCO62
Map Issue
Use the map to locate the outdoor light you want to report. Zoom in to street level to view green light icons.
You can find a location by entering an address (street, city, and state or zip code) in the search box above, or you can allow the system to try to automatically locate you by clicking the GoTo My Location* link.
Once you have located the light, hover your cursor over the light’s green icon until the information box appears. Click the link at the bottom of the information box and complete the incident report form that appears to request service at that location. After submitting the form, the reported light is indicated as a red icon on the map.
If a street light location is not shown on the map you can simply click on the map to indicate the location of the problem light. Complete the incident report form that appears to request service at that location. Please provide as much information as possible.
