  • It is important to all of us that we are prepared for violent weather. For us, that means planning thoroughly before weather threatens, responding quickly when a storm hits, and restoring power as safely and quickly as possible in the event of an outage.

    Getting Information

    We know that you want information when the power goes out, and we are committed to keeping you informed as we work to restore your electrical service. There are several ways you can get information during a storm.

    • Call 1-877-737-2662 to report outages and downed wires. You can request a callback so we can verify if individual or small groups of outages still exist.
    • Use our website to report outages. By entering your account information, you can also get updates, use dynamic outage maps to zoom in and see where outages have occurred, get important contact information, and see estimates for when power will be restored.
    • Use our mobile app on your smartphone or tablet. You can report outages, receive alerts on the restoration progress, access outage maps, and call us through a direct dial link Download the free mobile app by visiting pepco.com/mobileapp on your mobile device.

    Validate Your Phone Number

    Please make sure your current service location telephone number is on your account by signing in to My Account. This will help us match your street address to your telephone number quickly if you have to call us to report an outage.
