Pepco and Regional Utilities Ask Customers to Continue to Use Energy Wisely

| For Immediate Release Pepco and other mid-Atlantic utilities today are asking customers to use energy wisely as the region`s heat wave enters its second week. While Pepco expects to be able to meet customers` increased demand for electricity, the PJM Interconnection, of which Pepco is a member, is asking customers to use energy wisely to help avoid possible power supply problems. Pepco recommends the following energy conservation tips, health permitting, especially from 3-7 p.m., when electricity demand is at its highest:
