Pepco today is launching a redesigned Web site featuring improved navigation to make it easier for customers to find the information they need, such as getting information about power outages after a storm or paying their bill online. The new Web site is based on customer input and a part of a series of new Web sites being introduced today by Pepco’s parent company, Pepco Holdings, Inc., and its sister utilities Atlantic City Electric and Delmarva Power.
The Web addresses for the sites remain the same:
The purpose of the redesign was to improve the usability and navigation of the site based on current best practice and user input. Pepco conducted focus groups with customers earlier this year to determine how people use its Web site and what navigation is most intuitive. The design and navigation of the new site is based on this research.
Pepco, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc., provides safe and reliable electric service to more than 725,000 residential and commercial customers in Washington, D.C., and Montgomery and Prince George's counties in Maryland.
