Procuring adequate wholesale supplies of electricity at the best available price to serve our utilities’ Standard Offer Service (SOS) residential and commercial customers is a central responsibility of Pepco and certainly a critical one. Our goal in the SOS Procurement section is to enhance the ease and efficiency with which electricity suppliers doing business with Pepco—or who wish to do so—can submit their bids and applications, fulfill their contractual obligations and manage their invoices to and payment by Pepco.
Furthermore, retail suppliers licensed by each regulatory jurisdiction to sell competitive electricity supply to retail customers must register with us.
