If you are moving, please notify us at least three business days in advance by completing and submitting the form below, calling (202) 833-7500, or by visiting one of our Customer Service Centers. The three business days' notice is important, because you are responsible for - and will be billed for - all service at your present address until you notify us. If no party is moving in, the service may be disconnected.
What about the final reading of my Electric Meter?
If you are planning a move within our service territory, you can close your old account and set up your new account at the same time by completing and submitting the form below or by calling us at (202) 833-7500. The three business days' notice is important, because you are responsible for - and will be billed for - all service at your old address until you notify us. If no new party is moving to your old address, the service may be disconnected.
