Pepco Offers Customers the Power to Save
Washington , D.C. - October is Energy Awareness Month. To help customers learn how to save energy and money, Pepco offers a free, interactive tool, called "My Account," on its Web site, www.Pepco.com.
The Web-based service enables customers to create a personal energy profile based on the size of their home, the number of residents, the age of their appliances and other necessary information that is used to determine ways to reduce energy costs.
Since Pepco launched "My Account" more than two years ago, thousands of customers have logged on to save energy at home.
Here's what is needed to register to use "My Account":
• A recent Pepco bill to provide a correct account number and the exact name on the account,
• Go to www.Pepco.com,
• Click "My Account";
• Register to save energy and money.
While the use of "My Account" is limited to Pepco customers, the company offers the general public a variety of ideas for saving energy and money on its Web site, www.Pepco.com , in the "Our Energy Future" section.
