D.C. Customer Wins $1,000 for Going Paperless
WASHINGTON , D.C. - Pepco customer and District of Columbia resident Natashia Turner is the winner of Pepco's Green Bill contest and will receive a $1,000 gift card.
More than 36,000 customers signed up for the Green Bill contest between September 1 and December 17, 2010. To be eligible, customers registered for Green Bill, Pepco's paperless billing option. Ms. Turner's winning entry was selected at random.
"When customers choose to go paperless, it helps the environment by lowering our carbon footprint," said Donna Mann, Pepco Process Owner, Customer Experience. "We held the contest as a way to reward our customers for utilizing this important billing option."
The contest is over, but Pepco customers can still sign up for Green Bill by visiting pepco.com, signing up for My Account, and then registering for the paperless billing option.
My Account gives customers outstanding ways to manage their energy consumption, including tracking their energy dollars.
