- Pepco joined federal government agencies and energy industry partners at the
White House-sponsored Energy Datapalooza at the Ronald Reagan Building today. Secretary
of Energy Ernest Moniz, U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park, and GSA
Administrator Dan Tangherlini spoke on innovation in the electric industry and federal
leadership on promoting energy management and energy efficiency.
Green Button is an industry initiative that stemmed from
a White House call to action to provide customers with easy access to their
energy usage data in a user-friendly format. This is one example of the results
of a presidential memorandum issued in 2013 to deploy energy management

Pepco-collaborating with Schneider Electric, New City

the country to initiate and deploy a pilot of energy management for commercial
customers using the Green Button Connect My Data standard.
