90% of Customers Back On; Pepco Asking for Customers' Help to Pinpoint Remaining Outages to Speed Repairs
Pepco has restored power to more than 90 percent of its customers who lost electricity as a result of Hurricane Isabel. Pepco is asking for customers' help to pinpoint the location of the remaining outages.
Customers who are still without power but see that their neighbors have power are urged to call Pepco again at 1-877-Pepco-62 to report their outage. While these customers are waiting for their power to be turned on, they should make sure that the main circuit breaker to their homes are turned on and leave a light on that is visible from the outside to help Pepco crews quickly identify where power has been restored.
