Pepco Restores Power To 99% of Customers
Who Lost Power As a Result of Hurricane Isabel

As of 5:30 PM today, about 2,500 Pepco customers remain without power due to Hurricane Isabel. Shortly after the hurricane, Pepco estimated that the vast majority of affected customers would be restored by today. Pepco is contacting customers still without power from Hurricane Isabel to let them know the status of their repairs. If customers still don`t have power from Hurricane Isabel and they haven`t heard from us, they should call Pepco at 1-877-Pepco-62 (1-877-737-2662).

Pepco is continuing to get reports of trees falling on power lines either from cleanup activities or weakening from previous damage. This is causing a few random outages and we are working on those as well.

Originally, more than half a million Pepco customers were left without electricity from Isabel. Three-quarters of the customers who lost power were restored by noon Tuesday and 90 percent of them were back in service by noon Wednesday.
