Multiple storms over the last several days have caused significant damage and tens of thousands of customers have lost power at various times across Pepco's service territory.

  • Repeated storms have weakened trees, making trees and tree limbs more likely to fall into power lines.
  • Pepco linemen and other personnel have been working 16 hour days to restore service as quickly and safely as possible.
