Pepco Partners with Washington Mystics to "Go Green"

Pepco Sponsors Family Night of Energy Conservation

WASHINGTON D.C. - Pepco is partnering with the Washington Mystics to host the team's first ever "Go Green" Night. A Green Expo will take place on the Verizon Center concourse from 6:00 p.m. through the end of the game on Saturday, July 11.

"Pepco is pleased to once again partner with the Mystics," said Debbi Jarvis, Vice President, Corporate Communications. "We are looking forward to meeting Pepco customers at the game and using the 'Go Green Night' to let them know about how they can use energy wisely and protect the environment."

Mystics' players will wear green warm-ups that will be autographed and placed into a silent auction to take place that day. All proceeds collected from these autographed items will be donated to a local non-profit organization.

"The Mystics are proud to partner with Pepco on this important 'Go Green' initiative," Mystics Chief Operating Officer Greg Bibb. "We joined Pepco in recognizing the need to increase our environmental awareness and activism and we are excited to launch this campaign."
