Gallery Showcases "Expressions of Gratitude"
WASHINGTON - Pepco's Edison Place Gallery will host Life Pieces To Masterpiece's "Expressions of Gratitude" exhibition from Thursday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 25.
"Expressions of Gratitude" is Life Pieces To Masterpiece's first exhibition since the vandalism and destruction of their facility in August. "With thanks for the help of their many supporters within the community and across the country, Pepco is delighted to host this exhibition more than five years after their first exhibition at Edison Place," says Debbi Jarvis, Vice President, Corporate Communications.
Life Pieces To Masterpieces is an organization focused on providing opportunities to discover and activate the innate and creative abilities of its members to change life challenges into possibilities. This program guides its members to channel their life experiences using various forms of art. Members are African American males, between the ages of three and 21 who live in the District of Columbia's low-income and public housing areas. Pepco's Edison Place Gallery is in the 700 block of Eighth Street NW, between G and H streets, one block west of the Verizon Center. The gallery will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on November 19 through 21, and 23 through 25. Admission is free.
