WHAT: Pepco to Hold Press Conference on Status of Power Outages

Pepco officials will discuss the current status of its restoration efforts throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. As of 1:30 p.m. today, approximately 87,000 customers are without power due to this morning's massive thunderstorm that inflicted significant damage to Pepco's electric system.

Pepco crews will continue to work around the clock until power has been restored to all customers.
