WASHINGTON - Pepco's Edison Place Gallery will host the Karabakh Foundation's exhibits, "Divided Colors: Abstract Views from the Land of Fire," featuring Abol Bahadori from January 25 through February 4 and "Karabakh on My Mind," featuring Leyla Rzayeva and Yavar Rzayev from February 8 through February 18. Opening receptions will be held on Tuesday, January 25 and Tuesday, February 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The Karabakh Foundation is a nonprofit organization seeking to increase awareness and understanding in the United States of the cultural heritage and traditions of the country of Azerbaijan, the Caucasus area and the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. Pepco's Edison Place Gallery is in the 700 block of Eighth Street, NW, between G and H streets, one block west of the Verizon Center. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 12-4 p.m. and Saturday, January 29 and Saturday, February 12 from 12-4 p.m. Admission is free.
