Pepco Has more than 1200 Crews Working on the Restoration Effort

WASHINGTON - Pepco continues to restore electric service to customers hard hit by the intense winter storm that swept through the Washington Metropolitan Region on Wednesday evening.

By 11 p.m. Friday evening, crews had restored power to over 80 percent of the 210,000 customers who lost power.

Currently there are more than 1200 people working in the field to restore service to customers still without power. These crews will continue to work around the clock until power restoration is complete.

Pepco encourages customers without power or seeking an estimated restoration time to call 1-877-Pepco-62 or 1-877-737-2662.
