Washington Business Journal Recognizes Pepco in 2011 Corporate Philanthropy Awards
WASHINGTON , D.C. - Today, Pepco was recognized by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) at their 2011 Corporate Philanthropy Awards breakfast. WBJ ranked Pepco 10th in the corporate contributions category after accounting for approximately $2.2 million the company donated to organizations and initiatives in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area in 2010. Each year the WBJ honors the region's most active and inspirational companies and nonprofits who have made a difference in their communities through both financial and volunteer philanthropic work.
