Pepco President Receives Community Impact Award

The Kiwanis Club of Mitchellville Honors Thomas Graham at Charter Celebration Dinner

WASHINGTON , D.C. - Tom Graham, President, Pepco Region, received the Community Impact Award from the Kiwanis Club of Mitchellville at their 16th Anniversary Charter Celebration Dinner on Saturday, June 4. The Kiwanis Club chose Graham because of his commitment to supporting and making an impact in the communities that Pepco serves. The dinner's Mistress of Ceremonies was Molette Green, News Anchor, WHUR 96.3 FM, with County Executive Rushern Baker as the keynote speaker.

"I'm excited to receive this award," said Graham. "I look forward to increasing our presence in the community because I have personally seen how we impact some of our customers' lives."

The Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Mitchellville, MD serves children, seniors, and the homeless throughout the Prince George's County community all year-long. Through the participation of members, they also support and offer assistance to several initiatives that positively impact the lives of children, including our K-Kids clubs at Woodmore and Kingsford Elementary schools, Key Club at Largo High School, Circle K Club at Bowie State University, partnerships with St. Anne's Infant and Maternity Home, and The Family Crisis Center of Prince George's County.
