Utility Sponsors Community Stage and Volunteers Work Energy Information Booth

Washington , D.C. - Pepco is sponsoring the Community Stage and Pepco volunteers will work an energy information booth at t he 63^rd Annual Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. This year's theme is "It's Udderly Terrific".

Starting Saturday, August 13 through Saturday, August 20 the Pepco Community Stage at Racing Park will come alive with song and dance performances by youth groups from around Montgomery County. The fair competitions this year will be "The FAIR's got TALENT!"

Pepco volunteers will also hand out energy conservation and information materials at the Pepco exhibit booth.

"The Montgomery County Fair is a wonderful outing for families and Pepco is proud to be a part of the festivities," said Debbi Jarvis, Vice President, Corporate Citizenship and Social Responsibility. "Our volunteers will provide fact sheets on what we are doing throughout Montgomery County to improve reliability along with fact sheets on Pepco's smart meter and energy efficiency programs."

Folks attending the Montgomery County Agriculture Fair are invited to drop by the Pepco exhibit booth from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
