Pepco Dedicates WaterShed Sustainability Center

WaterShed House was Winner of  2011 U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 

WHAT: The Pepco WaterShed Sustainability Center opens to the public following a dedication ceremony for media and other guests on Earth Day. The center includes the energy-efficient house designed and built by students and faculty from the University of Maryland that won first place in the 2011 U.S. Department of Energy's  Solar Decathlon on the National Mall. PHI acquired the house in 2012 and worked with the student team to relocate it to the 5,000-square-foot site adjacent to Pepco's Rockville Service Center in Maryland.
