Washington, D.C. (May 8, 2018) – Pepco employees volunteered nearly 600 hours at community service events throughout the District of Columbia and Maryland in celebration of National Volunteer Month in April. Employees supported arts and culture, community development, environmental sustainability and education initiatives that align with the company's purpose of powering a cleaner and brighter future for customers and communities.
"We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication that Pepco employees continue to show by volunteering with local organizations that enhance our local communities on a daily basis," said Donna Cooper, Pepco region president. "It is our honor and pleasure to support our neighbors and communities with Pepco's ongoing volunteer efforts, not just for National Volunteer Month, but throughout the entire year."
