Washington, D.C. (October 11, 2018) – Pepco, along with Montgomery Parks and Montgomery County, have marked the completion of an innovative nature trail along a Pepco transmission line corridor in North Potomac, Maryland. The new six-mile, natural surface, multi-use trail connects the Muddy Branch Stream Valley to South Germantown Recreation Park. Dave Velazquez, president and CEO, Pepco Holdings was joined by Isiah “Ike” Leggett, county executive, Montgomery County, Maryland; Craig Rice, councilmember, Montgomery County Council; Casey Anderson, chair, Montgomery County Planning Board; Michael Riley, director, Montgomery County Parks; and Dave Magill, advocacy director, Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE) for a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebratory first ride on October 5.
