The PHI Community Foundation invited supporters to join us for the 13th Annual Pepco Golf & Tennis Classic, held on September 10, 2018. We welcomed participants to another wonderful day on the links and tennis courts for such a worthy cause.
Believing that “we all have the power to make a difference,” the Foundation has worked consistently to help meet the energy needs of Washington metropolitan area families with limited incomes. Since our inception in 2006, our total contributions have climbed to nearly $2.7 million. The need has never abated, and we appreciate the numerous business and community partners who have helped us reach this level of accomplishment.
While the main event date was Monday, September 10, there were several supporting events scheduled on Saturday, September 8, and Sunday, September, 9. All three days emphasized enjoyment, camaraderie, and stewardship in service of those in need. As always, this year’s event lineup offered unique opportunities to play golf or tennis with members of both Pepco Holdings (PHI) and Exelon Corporation’s executive and senior management teams.
The 13th Annual Pepco Golf & Tennis Classic was held at The Country Club at Woodmore, located at 12320 Pleasant Prospect Road, Mitchellville, MD. This beautiful golf course is among the top rated venues within the state of Maryland.
