Pepco Maryland Customer bills will increase starting on April 1, 2022, and as authorized by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC), will be partially reduced by certain tax benefits. With the rate adjustment and offsets approved by the PSC, typical residential electric bills will increase by $3.48 per month as compared to last year. See pepco.com/MYPMD for details.
A total of 250 Electric Vehicle (EV) Public Charging Network stations will be installed throughout Pepco’s territory, at no cost to government sites. Two types of chargers (Level 2 and DC fast) are available through the program, allowing EV drivers the flexibility and peace of mind to drive farther.

Once your application is received, Pepco will schedule a site assessment at the desired location to ensure it meets charger installation guidelines. After all assessments, licensing, and designs are complete, Pepco coordinates equipment purchase and installation efforts with Greenlots, our selected EV charger vendor. Pepco also owns, operates, and maintains the EV chargers. Pepco’s EVsmart team will communicate and collaborate with our government site host partners throughout the process—from application to construction—to ensure the installation meets the host’s needs and provides the best value to our customers.
