Pepco is monitoring a coastal storm that is expected to bring severe weather to our area this weekend. Strong winds and heavy rainfall may bring down trees and damage equipment, resulting in power outages for our customers. We are prepared for this event and have enhanced our staffing resources to best respond. Safety is our top priority. We urge customers to stay away from downed wires and other equipment. To report a downed wire, call 877-737-2662. Report and track outages through our mobile app or website at pepco.com/StormPrep.
Public electric vehicle (EV) chargers are an amenity that make any community more attractive to businesses and residents alike. With greater access to public charging stations, EV drivers get the peace of mind to drive farther.
If you're a commercial property manager or owner looking to install public access EV charging stations, then Pepco's Public Charger program is for you.
With the Public Charger program, Pepco will install the electric supply infrastructure to the charging station and, as the station owner, you install the charging stations and ensure public accessibility. Pepco will provide a rebate for the electric supply infrastructure cost or directly pay an electrician if the work has not been completed.
Please note: The following are excluded from Pepco's Public Charger program:
