As a residential or commercial solar customer, you may be eligible to participate in Pepco's Smart Inverter Management Program. This new program gives you an opportunity to work with us to enhance the grid as we continue to meet the needs of customers interested in distributed energy resources and solar integration.
The Smart Inverter Management Program relies on smart inverters, which can adapt to the grid to increase reliability and security. For customers, this can mean fewer voltage fluctuations and interruptions to your solar energy system’s power generation capabilities. Eligible customers will receive a new smart inverter — valued between $1,500 to $6,600 depending on the size and configuration of your solar energy system — installed by Pepco.
To apply for the program, click on the residential or commercial customer application below. Once completed, email your application to SmartInverterManagement@exeloncorp.com. We will review your application, and a Pepco representative will contact you if you are selected to participate.
