Transfer Service

How Do I Stop Service at My Old Address and Start Service at My New Address?

If you are planning a move within our service territory, you can close your old account and set up your new account at the same time by completing and submitting the form below or by calling us at (202) 833-7500. The three business days' notice is important, because you are responsible for - and will be billed for - all service at your old address until you notify us. If no new party is moving to your old address, the service may be disconnected.

TO TRANSFER electric service, simply complete and submit the form below.

Please allow up to 3 business days to process your request, excluding weekends and holidays.
